Impact of Social Media on Access to Legal Information

Marcela Monroy, a student at the University of Paris II, Pantheon-Assas, working toward her Masters degree in Legal Sociology, has asked me to post a link to a survey she’s conducting on the impact of social networks (forums, blogs, chats, message boards, etc.) and the access to legal information.

After a bit of due diligence, her research is quite interesting, intended to ascertain not only how people gather information about the law, but whether it’s beneficial or dangerous.  So give Marcela a hand and take her survey.

Here’s the link to the English version of the survey.

Help a Parisian student out, guys.  It’s short, it’s painless, and it’s the least you can do to further our understanding of what the heck the internet means to people and the law.  And no, you don’t need to input your credit card number, social security number or register for Netflix.

Just do it.
