Nah, what it was was Mr. Seaton played golf all week and forgot to call Sheriff Roy to get the latest news from Mudlick before the weekend.
Either that, or Seaton guzzled the jug of “Squeezin’s” Sheriff Roy sent him for Christmas, he temporarily blacked out, and forgot everything. BTDTGTTS

As my mean-ass editor said yesterday I landed an interview for a potential spot on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
The dinner last night with the President and First Lady didn’t go well at all. Apparently Mr. Biden doesn’t like hearing German Shepherds are high anxiety breeds that don’t thrive in stressful environments.
And it probably didn’t help when I met Representative Ocasio-Cortez and remarked “I expected a girl with big eyes and big teeth to have big ideas. You were quite the disappointment!”
Oh and there was that unfortunate incident where I told Ted Lieu to “get me some Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken, bitch.” But he insulted my wife.
Guess I’m not cut out for the bench after all.
