My Christmas tradition has been to post this video. This year, it’s an anachronism, as the pandemic precludes us from going to Chinese restaurants, meeting a group of friends and celebrating the day in our own way. But this too shall pass. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas SHG. The boy and I are up while Mommy and Sister sleep watching the new Disney movie, so I hope that counts this year for seeing a movie on Christmas Day.
Merry Christmas Mr. Green. Also hope y’all have a happy and prosperous new year.
Since my forced retirement because of my wife’s infirmities, I’ve been learning to cook. Today will be a Standing Rib Roast with Cabbage, Carrots and Taters, with a Lemon Lush and Strawberry Delight for dessert.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Holy… . GD I’m reposting this. Merry Christmas, big boy!
Every year I watch it and it brings a smile, good years and not so good.
Merry Christmas to you too Scott, and everyone, good and not so good. : ]
While Milady (my wife) was still alive, we decided to commit cultural appropriation for our Christmas Eve traditions. We had so many family gatherings that involved traditional Christmas fare that we and the kids needed something different. After attending church, we would go to the local Chinese buffet for Christmas Eve. We’ve been doing so for over a decade now, even though my wife passed this year. Illustrious Potentate (the Honorable Governor Andy Bashear) deigned to let the restaurants reopen a couple of weeks ago, so we could go. (It helps that this was always our private tradition too, shelter from the gatherings we had the rest of the season.)
We would have considered going today, but the place we like is closed, and it’s 18 degrees F with a wind chill and black ice.
Merry merry, Scott.
Thanks again for the Jimmy Choo red pumps.
Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Merry Christmas to all Hotellians!
There should be a Chinese restaurant where the banquet hall used to be.
