There’s a Disruption in the Force Contest

Simple Justice is running a contest!  Woo Hoo!  The winner gets bragging rights across the entire practical blawgosphere and the chance to be mentioned on CLTV if I can convince the host and star, Ken Lammers, to go along.

Here’s the contest.  Something is missing today in the practical blawgosphere.  It’s bold.  It’s occasionally offensive.  It’s almost always right.  It’s happened before and now it’s happened again.

What could it be?

Test your skills.  Test your knowledge.  Win big!

Many will enter but only one will win.  Will it be you?

Something is missing today in the practical blawgosphere.,

Yet another post from me about the day-to-day life of trying a case?

    It’s bold. It’s occasionally offensive.

OK, not me. I’ll try to offend next time.

I think you may have underestimated your ability to offend, but it’s still not about you.

I keep reading your site for tips on how to offend, so I’m still learning. Maybe I should spend more time over at GeekLawyer. He seems to have a handle on it.

Why is everything italicized? Someone forgot to close a tag.

I tried. But it didn’t work for some reason. So now I try again, for the third time, and I triple check my code, and I get to use this blog to test my amateur coding talents.

Um, talking smack about prosecutors? Even naming them?

And, by the way, it’s a “disturbance in the force” not a disruption. Geez. Am I the only Star Wars geek here? Don’t answer that.

Ta Da!  We have a winner!

Norm’s blog is not merely down, but out.  Since Norm’s epiphany that he is indeed devoted to Gerry Spence and the mystical ways of Wyoming, he has decided to spend his remaining days studying Greek (the language), learning all the various food names in Mandarin and Cantonese and living in the one remaining Ashram in Connecticut (at a secret location within walking distance of downtown Greenwich).  Once he has finished reading every classical book ever written, recognized and fulfilled his place in the universe and grasped the meaning of life, he may return to us.

Until then, I bid adieu to my brother Norm.

Sorry, but the judges have ruled that your response was not sufficiently specific.  The judges’ decision is final, but thank you for playing.

    OH.

I thought we had to *do* something to win, not just guess, and was waiting for further instruction.

As Emily Litella would say, “never mind.”
