There is an animation going around the blawgosphere dealing with some confused, snarky, pointless advice for would-be law students. I don’t like it and think it’s not merely wrong, but stupid and utterly unhelpful. Rather than explain why this is so, as should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, it strikes me as far more valuable to address real concerns by offering this video of real people providing hard, cold, critically important thoughts.
Animations are for kids. This is real people. Pay attention and learn something.

I couldn’t watch the whole thing, it’s too long. But there was one on “why I don’t have any mom friends” that was spot on. And, I disagree, I think this was pretty amusing (for the amount of time I could get through it). Unfortunately, I don’t think young people are going to law school because they think “I love the constitution and that’s why I want to go to law school” Wouldn’t it be a great thing if they did?
Not the slightest clue what you’re talking about.
See, Greenfield knows the animation is “confused, snarky, pointless advice for would-be law students” without even watching it.
Some who don’t know him might mistake this unique talent for the lack of a sense of humor.
I watched the animation start to finish. What would possibly make you think otherwise?
