I realize you do, and I do like to read your posts. HOWEVER, you are in a minority as far as attorneys go.
Bleed and plead is the order of the day in most cases.
As my last attorney said, plea guilty to something, anything, make something up, they just want to get a guilty plea out of you. No find, no jail time, but a criminal record for life.
BULLSHIT, I said. Went to trial, and all charges were dismissed when it was revealed by the police and Secret Service, that they had NO evidence to begin with, and ONLY wanted to see me convicted…. of anything….
I painfully well aware of what many lawyers do, and I find it disgraceful. That’s one of the reasons for much of what I write, to spur lawyers to do better, care more, fight harder. I want clients to think harder and find a better lawyer rather than fall for flashy bullshit and lies. I want judges to do their job, give defendants a fair shot and stop going with the odds.
Many lawyers hate me for doing what I do, calling them out, revealing their dirty secrets or airing their dirty laundry. This may come as a shock to you, but lawyers aren’t thrilled with me for telling the truth. And oddly, a lot of clients don’t want to hear the truth either.
