The New York Times provides an editorial about the “shocking mass sexual assaults against women in Cologne, Germany.” The attacks occurred on New Year’s Eve, so they’ve had two weeks to get their act together and decide what to say. Finally, they have taken a stand.
To protect women and to ensure that Europe can maintain the political will to absorb millions of refugees fleeing war and deprivation, the Continent will have to face this problem head-on.
So Europe must confront this terrible problem directly. Anything else?
But these men must not be stigmatized.
Somebody is going to suffer here. Either it’s women being raped or men being stigmatized.
On Monday, Pope Francis urged Europe to “find the right balance between its twofold moral responsibility to protect the rights of its citizens and to ensure assistance and acceptance to migrants.”
Well, that solves the problem. No wonder it took you two weeks to have something to say about mass sexual assaults committed by refugees. It’s not easy coming up with tough answers when both sides of the equation are sacred cows.

Only white college frat men get to be stigmatized. Not immigrant men.
It took them two weeks to process being shown actual rape culture before realizing gender politics means never having to say sorry or admit being wrong.
I’m left a little confused by their reaction. Are they warning that stigmatizing the innocent because they happen to be migrants would be wrong, or are they claiming that stigmatizing the guilty would be wrong because they’re migrants?
Stigmatizing be stigmatizing. Why is that so hard to understand. Or are you one of those migrant rape apologists?
You’re just not thinking outside the box.
A lot of things that ordinary people don’t think are all that immoral, such as buying the wrong kind of wood, or catching fish that are too small, are now serious crimes.
So all we have to do is put rape in this category. No big deal, no moral quandary, except if you’re caught you’ll go to prison for a long time.
Are you saying that the New York Times
has its head up its ass or shouldn’t speak its mind until it figures out where its mind actually is?
Don’t you worry esteemed one this guy will show them how to pull that move off:
[Ed. Note: No. Just no.]
Come on admit it! That link was perfectly placed. You just don’t want to admit that your favorite news paper and that guy share so much in common when all the cloths come off.
“”No wonder it took you two weeks to have something to say “”
two weeks is long enough for most sheeple to forget about it.
…and two weeks was needed to figure out how to say “We must do something” and in the next sentence say “we must do nothing”
