Rahul Jindal  has announced that he doesn’t want me to be angry at him in this festive season, so he’s offered this conciliatory view of criminal defense.

I have seen young parents worry about the influence of crime on impressionable minds, that practicing criminal law can, in extreme cases, also have its effects is a new one!

Now I don’t have a clue what this means, but since it’s coming from “the destination for knowledge driven industries and call-centers,” it must mean something important. 

You too can have your briefs ghost-written with such prosaic clarity in India.  But not if you only want to spend peanuts. 

As for Rahul’s offer to outsource my secretarial services to India to expand my limited American use of idioms to become more “international”, I just chatted with some gal from Bangalore named Charlene, who informed me something, though I couldn’t understand because of the accent. 

I’m thinking that I really don’t want my client’s one phone call going to Charlene.   But fear not, Rahul.  I’m not angry with you at all.  You probably just misunderstood because of my accent.
