Now that our Government has taken the position that felons are no longer people, which could save a small fortune on medicaid since only people get sick, the DOJ has moved on to address its newest and latest problem.  Bandwidth.

It seems that the government is just a tad short, and is forced to cut  Talking Points Memo from its press release distribution list.  Darn, if only they could scrape up an extra kilobyte.  But alas, the last one is all used up and none left for TPM.

They used to get PRs from DOJ, and then one day they didn’t.  So being good citizens, the duly contacted the DOJ to find out why they are no longer on the list.  This is our government’s response:

I appreciated your desire to be in tune with DOJ press releases, however, unfortunately I am not able to add you to our distribution list. As you may realize we have a lot of requests to be put on our media lists and we simply are not able to put everyone on the list. We do however have all our press releases on our website and update them the minute they are released so I would suggest looking there. You can also always call us with press inquiries. Thanks again for your interest.

Maybe if we all chip in, say a dollar, the DOJ can buy some more bandwidth and add some more emails to its distribution list?  Did I mention that TPM has, on occasion, said negative things about the Department of Justice.  It may have slipped my mind.  Sorry.
