Update: It’s now the morning after. Having watched the news and read the paper, the Giants are still going to the Superbowl. It wasn’t just a dream.

And the Pats don’t look unbeatable. Better than the Giants? Of course, but so did Dallas and Green Bay, and look where it got them.

But why is Tom Petty playing at half time? Even if he has a costume malfunction, no one will care.

Or a Mets vs. a Yankees fan?
Or a Rangers vs. Islanders vs. Devils fan? (I’ll bet I know this one, though.)
Or a Knicks vs. Nets fan?
Or how any other metro-New York sports teams are divided amongst the metro-New York population?
