Is Anybody Listening?

For those of you who read posts to the bitter end, you may see my inclusion of a musical interlude at the very end.   This begs a question.  Does anyone (besides me) notice that they’re there?  Does anyone listen to them?  Does anyone like them, hate them, care one way or the other?

A little feedback, please.

I don’t listen, Scott. It is very rare that I seek out a music video (unless it is directly related to a post I’m writing or a song someone has asked me about) in my real life. Finding one at the end of a posting doesn’t increase my interest level. It’s mostly a matter of time.

They don’t show up in the email subscription, either, so I don’t always know they are there unless I click through the blog.

Because I’m on the road these days, I’m also often reading either in a public place (e.g., restaurant, hotel lobby, etc.), or else in a hotel room beside my sleeping husband.

I think the concept of including the music is wonderful, I’m just not in a good position to take advantage of it.

I don’t hear it either and I am sorry about that. I guess. Depends on your taste in music. What is it?

You’ve never noticed the youtube videos at the end of some posts?

Sigh.  It appears that I include these solely for my own amusement.

When included, they relate to the post in one way or another.  Most of the time, they harken back to a day when we were young and listened to music without needing to have a good reason.  I hoped that some of the youngers would learn a little culture.

I do notice your videos. We do not have enough bandwidth. I cannot believe I am thinking about bandwidth. No cable!! here on this section of Haight Road. It is like being stuck in the 20th century. The cost of satellite, don’t ask.

Even in Johnson Creek we had more technology. I need to move again. Not just to hear your music!

They show up in Google Reader, so they must be part of the feed.

And monopoly isn’t that much fun, really 😀

Sacrilege. It’s a lot of fun, and if you simply change the rules to require that all unclaimed properties immediately go up for auction the first time they’re landed on, it’s a terrific game of finance, strategy, and negotiation.
