Ann Coulter Wants Me To Be “Perfected”

Today must be conservative hottie day at Simple Justice, since we’re now going from former NFL cheerleader cum hatemonger Wendy Murphy to the diva herself, Ann Coulter.  On the Donny Deutsch’s CNBC show,  The Big Idea, Coulter explained here thoughts :


COULTER: No, we think — we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say.


DEUTSCH: Wow, you didn’t really say that, did you?


COULTER: Yes. That is what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws. We know we’re all sinners —


DEUTSCH: In my old days, I would have argued — when you say something absurd like that, there’s no —


COULTER: What’s absurd?


DEUTSCH: Jews are going to be perfected. I’m going to go off and try to perfect myself —


COULTER: Well, that’s what the New Testament says.


DEUTSCH: Ann Coulter, author of “If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans,” and if Ann Coulter had any brains, she would not say Jews need to be perfected. I’m offended by that personally. And we’ll have more “Big Idea” when we come back.



Perhaps some of the deep thinkers who believe (Yeeeessssss, I believe, Hallelujah!) that Ann Coulter speaks the truth would like to tell us more about how the Jews need to be “perfected”.  I really want to know.

Update:  Another take on Coulter from Volokh Conspiracy.  While a sober analysis of Ann Coulter’s “intent”, does David Bernstein completely miss how disinhibited Coulter is in expressing her ideals?  He calls says it’s “polite not to declare the superiority of one’s religion, and the inferiority of one’s neighbors.”  That doesn’t cut it for me.  Polite refers to saying “please” and “thank you.”  Not to promoting religious hegemony.

    I am sorry as a practicing Catholic that you have to put up with reading or hearing bilge like this but Anne Coulter has rocks for brains. Federal Express? Is she on drugs? Anyhow, pay no attention to her.
